Gale and Phillipson to sponsor North Yorkshire charity

Gale and Phillipson are proud to sponsor local charity Heriot Hospice Homecare for the first time.

Gale and Phillipson Financial Adviser, Derek Dryden, commented “We’re delighted to sponsor Heriot Hospice Homecare this year. The hospice does a brilliant job around the Hambleton and Richmondshire area and we’re proud to support them any way we can.  Many of our own clients, or their family members, have been affected by life-limiting illness and the Hospice has been a fantastic support to them.

“Having worked with a few members of the Hospice on the Duck race in the past, and providing them with some office equipment to sell in the furniture store – we already had a little understanding of the challenges they face and the charity’s financial goals.  Corporate sponsorship seemed like the natural next for us to work with a local charity and commit to supporting the Hospice on a more regular basis by supporting the charity as our company “charity of choice” to support for the year.

“We look forward to working with them on a number of fundraising initiatives that they already have planned and also provide our own fundraising opportunities within Gale and Phillipson’s Northallerton and Richmond offices – through bake sales and suchlike.”

Gale and Phillipson believe supporting Heriot Hospice Homecare will be a natural partnership, in which their staff can also provide an additional resource to the charity by helping out at fundraising events.
