On 3rd March 2016, Gale and Phillipson’s Head of Distribution, Phil Morris will be sleeping out overnight at St James’ Park in Newcastle with more than 80 people from the local North East business community.
Phil is taking part to help raise vitally needed funds to support people who are homeless and living in poverty. Although Phil sleeping outside for one night can’t compare with those people whose lives involve sleeping rough on a daily basis, this combined act of local North East solidarity will hopefully help to highlight the issue of poverty and homelessness, and raise funds for those who need it.
We could all find ourselves in a difficult situation, with no job and nowhere to go but unfortunately not everyone is lucky enough to have a job and a family as a backup plan if things don’t go to plan.
Please support this fantastic cause – and Phil’s efforts in braving the cold for only one night – there are many people just like us, who are living on the streets, through no fault of their own.
